Humane Society University is an independent, non-profit university promoting a more humane world for people and animals through education of students and advancement of knowledge in areas related to animal protection and animal welfare. It is unique as an institution of higher learning devoted exclusively to ideas, values and issues associated with animal protection and the human-animal relationship.
