AP450 Independent Study in Animal Policy and Advocacy
Course Description
Undergraduate students may design and complete an independent study on a topic not currently covered in the curriculum. The student will need to identify a faculty member to supervise the independent study. Guidelines for Independent Study are distributed by the Department Chair. 3 credits
Course Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of the course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate expertise in the scholarly literature pertaining to their chosen topic; and
- Articulate key concepts, principles and theories pertaining to their chosen topic.
Course Topics
Topics covered in this course will be dependent upon the scope of the students’ learning outcomes; therefore topics will be determined by the student and the faculty member.
Course Materials
Text used will be determined by the faculty member.
