Self-Paced Courses

Humane Society University self-paced courses provide asynchronous learning which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Material is accessed at your convenience, enabling you to mold your education around your own schedule. There are no scheduled lecture times or deadlines to complete readings and assignments. Depending on how the course is structured, you may read course materials, watch pre-recorded videos, or submit assessments. Self-paced courses range from quick “how-to” tutorials to more in-depth material. Each course has been developed by an expert in the field and is designed to provide practical knowledge for professionals and volunteers in the animal welfare arena.
