International Applicants

Requirements for International Students

In addition to the standard application form and admission requirements are required to submit an international education evaluation report and may require a TOEFL.

TOEFL

International students are required to demonstrate English language proficiency appropriate for college-level study by submitting Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores at the time of application for admission.


Minimum scores are as follows:

213 CBT scores are valid only through September 30, 2008

79 IBT is being phased in throughout 2008; PBT is an acceptable alternative

The TOEFL requirement may be waived if:

  1. English is an official language of the applicant's country of origin, or
  2. The applicant holds a degree (bachelor's or higher) from a U.S. accredited college or university.

Photocopies or faxes of TOEFL scores will not be accepted, nor will scores older than twelve months. Scores should be submitted directly to Humane Society University (ETS School Code 2840).
